Google recently presented a new chip for quantum computing, and everyone rushed to their sofas with an enthusiastic echo of ideas about a bright future. Quantum optimists, it turns out. Quantum optimists (QO), however, do not really parse comments that highlighted the probabilities of such a future arriving. In the name of ethics, our editorial office will not publish those Facebook threads where QO keeps replying to numerous comments as if not noticing their connectedness.
