I have a need: I want to understand weekly and monthly spending totals. I need to know whether I will have free money left for new socks or not. What is the simplest way to do this? Budget-tracking apps, in terms of the number of movements, are similar to Excel. I want one button: quickly enter the amount and forget it. And when necessary, look at the log. A small store research session led me nowhere. It seems simple apps are dying out because banking apps cover this function well. In my situation this does not work. Different cards from different banks, and the budget is family, not personal. I found a fairly simple way: I made a table in Craft where I entered items. Craft, unlike Notion, is native, launches instantly, and there is almost no fight with the interface. Tolerable, but not ideal. I know it can be better, with one button.
