I changed the set of shortcuts in the control center of life. And I needed to fill the row to completeness. I added the code scanner. It works. And even contextually opens a separate web view for viewing pages, instead of sending you to the browser. Because this is not a separate entity but a shortcut to the camera, this app cannot be minimized and later returned to. The same scenario happened to me twice: scanning a code to buy tickets, I fell into this hole in usage logic. I wanted to minimize it to peek at bank card data and enter it. If you scan codes through the regular Camera app, links open in the regular browser. Someone, possibly more than one person, made this feature. With separate behavior. With duplication of functions, because barcodes are recognized in the regular Camera app. Someone caught bugs and polished, someone bothered with smooth animations of transforming a square into a circle. Why?
