A word about the news itself. I’m happy for the Rabbit 3 Times team, creators of Create with Play — but only a little. Most likely Apple bought the technology and the team, and it will turn into slightly friendlier app-production tools for the Apple ecosystem. We can speculate about an Xcode update with visual UI assembly, or a separate app like Keynote or Icon Composer. Play stood apart in the world of prototyping tools because it let you build prototypes natively, using SwiftUI logic and components. We held things that felt like native apps and rendered on the device as native apps, not imitations. Play won an Apple Design Award for Innovation in 2025. Thanks to Play and Roma, we were able to assemble and test our innovative approaches to recommendation-system controls, catch solutions that were not obvious to people, and deliver a better experience.
