We (me) are often (once) asked for an expert (sure) opinion about the new iPhones. Pro, Air? Is it worth switching? What feelings do they evoke? iPhone 17 Pro - in the hand it feels more like the previous generation before the 16 Pro. That one had a titanium frame, the new one has an aluminum one. It feels simpler, more ordinary. Essentially, the 17 Pro is the model of a finished phone with three cameras. If you, like me, for which I deeply sympathize, are into digital photography, then finally things have fallen into place: all three cameras give the same image quality at the output. In other words: finally all three cameras have the same 48-megapixel sensors, and the image jackalness no longer jumps when switching modes. Overall, the performance of app and interface responsiveness (damn, Apple has really fallen) is excellent. Well, that is clear Air - I would like to say, like bloggers: "it feels like magic, so thin and so functional". I will not. It is as if muscle memory kicks in. I am that old, the hands remember. Feelings: normal, it has always been this way, all normal iPhones (series 6 and 7) were like this. I would take an iPhone Air for myself, it feels like a normal iPhone. But damn digital photography. Air still has one camera, no my favorite mode (x3, x4) iPhone 17 Pro - if you have long wanted an upgrade. For example, moving from an iPhone X, then buying an iPhone 16 Pro and using it without a case will bring a lot of pleasure. If you are a fan of cases (or like me, a fan of Trade In), you can buy the 17 Pro too. Especially if you are upgrading from an iPhone 8. The difference will be tangible. Air - a normal phone for normal people. When the camera is needed to photograph what you ate and shoot video of a three-hour piano concert in Bauman Park (Why this? It will remain a mystery even to the person filming)
