Today our editorial team (me) discovered an interesting approach to navigation. This is the Sport app from Apple. All navigation between sections of the app is concentrated in the top right corner, in one button. Its title changes depending on the context. It is also worth paying attention that inside there are three sets of controls: - app sections - favorites - transition to profile and app settings On one hand: complex, on the other - everything is in one place, it is clear where to go And if you look at their first version (my review), everything falls into place - that is how it was intended. It just looked more conservative with a hamburger icon instead of the name of the current context. Now the solution looks fresh and curious. I want to take note and use it Looking at such a solution with a transforming control, were the design teams inside the company already oriented toward the approaches of the new iOS 26 back in 2023? I suppose not. They were not oriented. Otherwise the actions would be in the lower corner. After all, that is so convenient, right under the finger! Sarcasm. Look at the implementation of the search bar in Settings and come back with stronger theses about ergonomics and convenience. The randomness of ergonomics approaches among Apple's operating-system teams deserves a separate piece
